Update: Mr. Ryan finally did the right thing and issued a public apology on his site yesterday. Stating:

I would like to make a sincere apology to those whom I have offended with what turned out to be very hurtful remarks via my Twitter account last Saturday. I made a thoughtless and mean-spirited tweet about Fibromyalgia that upset many Fibromyalgia sufferers and the peope who love them and take care of them. As KDWB listeners are aware, such statements have no place in the caring and sympathetic fabric of KDWB and my show. This very real and painful condition affects the lives of many and I apologize for such a careless and misinformed message.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this cause and made the efforts to bring our trials to the forefront of people minds. We are not done though, we have to decided to continue on a mission to advocate for FMS survivors in similar instances. Misinformation has GOT to stop.

Dave Ryan, morning show host for KDWB in Minneapolis, stated that people who "claim" to have Fibromyalgia should be shot. Our mission is to have Mr. Ryan held accountable for his statement.

We have contacted Dave Ryan himself as well as management at Clear Channel communications and made public pleas for an apology all of which so far have fallen on deaf ears.
