On February 24, Russia began it’s invasion and aggression on all Ukrainian territory. As for that, we want actions to be taken against Russian basketball teams and Russian companies, that sponsor world tournaments.

       Therefore, we demand from the International Basketball Federation, also known as FIBA, to ban the national team of all age categories from all competitions under FIBA’s auspices.

      We also demand the company “Euroleague Basketball” to expel all Russian basketball teams from Euroleague and EuroCup competitions.

      At the same time, we demand the “Euroleague Basketball” to terminate all agreements with their Russian sponsors, such as — VTB and Winline.

      Actions should be taken. There is no place for war in any sports, including basketball.
