Me and my friends would like to start an FFA club for Lees Summit North High school. it would be a very good thing for our school since a lot of people would like to be in something like that and it would open up lots of new opportunities in the school and community. So far there are about 20-25 people who want to do this. FFA stands for Future Farmers of America, with this organization kids and adults would have a chance to learn about agriculture and participate in big events and could win some things, plus you get really cool gear from the association. FFA is an extracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education. FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success. FFA programs are funded through sponsorships and individual donations at the local, state, and national levels. National dues for each member are $7 per year.
