Football is loved by everyone, boys and girls! But why can only boys play it at a high-school level? Its not fair and not to mention when girls do play "professionally" we have to wear basically lingerie. Why should a sport be designated to one gender, what happened to women's rights that we fought so hard for? Title IX states; "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." Shouldn't it apply to total equality? Even as little as a sport. That's why I present the idea of Women's highschool football team STARTING at sprayberry high-school and expanding throughout our community!
