On September 17th, I payed for a package to be sent to my dad overseas. I wanted to be able to play video games with him and was sending him a Playstation 4. After Customs turned it away in Massachusetts, the package was to be sent back to me. However, as it did not have my house number, Fedex put it in lost and found rather than contact me through all given channels to get simple information. After a month of my package not being found, I decided to try and figure out what happened. It wasn't until January that I was able to get ahold of them and they told me my Playstation 4, a $300 game system, had been thrown in the trash after a month in lost and found. I was told I would receive a call later that day for a claim. There was no call. I had to call relentlessly to get ahold of customer service after no news and received a letter saying Fedex "respectfully declines my claim refund" because they don't believe they're at fault. After trying to dispute this, I was told I would yet again get a call that day. Again, nothing. On February 6th, Fedex charged me an additional $211 for a "returned package fee". +$500 and counting in damages and I want my money back. If this petition could at least get their attention, that's already more progress than I have gotten out of them alone.
