FedEx should not over-charge for aid package shipping to Puerto Rico!

After the devastation to Puerto Rico from the impact of Hurricane Maria, nearly 100% of the island is without the basic necessities to sustain human life. Many friends, relatives and good samaritans wish to help by sending lifesaving care packages of water, food, and other necessary staples. However, FedEx's current shipping rates to this US Territory reflect a predatory practice and a willingness to profit from this tragic circumstance. Currently a box large enough to ship a basic water and food supply costs nearly $125 USD (as quoted on the FedEx website). Please join me in holding FedEx accountable for this practice, and to ask them to be a partner in Puerto Rico's recovery, rather than a profiteer.
