The war on drugs has cost this nation uncountable amounts of both government integrity and revenue better spent on healthcare and infrastructure. This costly war the government has waged on its own citizens has done a disservice to us all. We live in a nation of crumbling infrastructure, high inflation, high homelessness, out of control gas and food prices and no universal healthcare. If the government doesn’t care about our healthcare than it has no business governing what we do with our own bodies. Freedom is freedom or it’s not.  Either we are free, to do what we please to our own bodies so as long as we aren’t hurting anyone else or we aren’t free at all. Our body is the only possession that is ours to govern. An inalienable right to autonomy of our own bodies. All drug laws violate the constitution. This must end now.
