I’m signing because TJHS needs a new name to honor BIPOC rattler than degrade.

Thomas Jefferson High School believed that we could not be diversed but our school shows proof that we can embrace our differences and cultures

If the current name makes BIPOC students feel unwelcome or unsafe, it should go.

I have nothing but love for the time and experience I had at this school, and I would love nothing but the same for future students. I want to see the name changed so that students will be proud and unashamed to represent their school!

The name has to be changed. He and all the guys on Mount Rushmore don't deserve to be "honored" on Lakota tribal land.

I am an alumni of TJHS, and I fully support a name that is fully inclusive of all students that walk through the front door!

My daughter is a teacher at TJ and ever time i visit TJ i am just blown away by how fantastic the student body and staff are. The school really needs a new name that reflects its true nature. I personally would like to suggest "Barack Obama High School" or "John Lewis High School", two really great Americans.
