Federal Law Against Cyberbullying
This petition had 122 supporters
Cyberbullying is a problem in our society, especially today. With technology in our hands a new form of bullying emerged. Cyberbullying is even more dangerous than regular personal bullying because many kids can see the humiliation on the Internet. Some can call out a student miles away in seconds. The repercussions are dire. Many kids injure themselves and others from being victims of cyberbullying. There should be a federal law that prohibits this at a criminal level because some victims end up committing suicide. If people can become more aware of the drama that occurs in schools; that can help them understand how badly we need to change that. Please it's time to stop. Sign this petition to urge the federal government to enact a federal law that specifically targets Cyberbullying.
