Cynthia Porter started this petition to Federal Government

Our veterans sign their lives over to Queen and country when they sign up.

They should not be taxed on their disability pensions, especially when no other disability pensions are taxed.

They pay a private company an insurance premium with tax dollars (non optionally) then are taxed if they recieve disability benefits from that policy.

Only if they are aware, they can apply to have the tax paid in the insurance premiums returned should they require disability payment.

This is a double handed tax grab on the part of the government.  No one should pay income tax on a disability payments.

Veterans have had declining support through successive governments and their benefits continue to be eroded.

It's time to take a stand!
