Samuel Agbi started this petition to FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA and

It is time for us to take a stand against xenophobes. The wanton destruction of lives and property by a select group of individual based on whatsoever preconceived notions should be discouraged and perpetrators brought to book.

The lacklustre attitude of leaders across various African countries towards this evil is a cause for alarm. The embers of hate are being fanned by these acts and, in order to avoid reprisal attacks that could lead to a far worse scenario, we need our Governments to take action. It is more alarming when we consider the fact that these acts are recurring and not just a one off.

It is therefore time to call our leaders to take a stand and declare their support for the one African spirit. These acts are divisive and could cause an implosion almost sister countries. No one has a monopoly of violeVio and as such no one should be allowed to exact violence based on whatever classification we have.

Your signature would represent your love for the one African spirit. Your signature would stand as call to action for our leaders (with emphasis on the African Union and South African Government) to bring these perpetrators to book while putting measures in place to caution and check future occurrence. Protect all African Lives by signing this petition.
