Leah Sharibu represents not only one girl from the northern part of Nigeria but all the children in Nigeria.  The state of insecurity in the country is not only alarming but heartbreaking. Education is a fundamental objective of the Nigerian government as enshrined by Chapter 4 of the 1999 constitution  of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.  Children just  like Leah should be free  to go to school without fear of being harrassed by Boko haram or other terrorist organisations.  Our streets and towns should be safe for every child
