Currently a pcr test is required for land border returns from the USA.  
Lack of tests, cost of tests, and their impracticality make short trips impossible for families to visit loved ones just across the border.

The pcr test requirements were eliminated in November 2021. Allowing vaccinated travellers to make land crossings , of 72 hours or less. The restriction was added back for the Christmas holidays but now should be lifted again. 

It is time to have our freedom to take short day trips returned. 

The federal government of Canada needs to drop the pcr testing requirements for vaccinated travellers returning by land from trips or less then 72 hours.
