Drug conspiracy is one of the most frequently charged drug-related crimes in the United States. This type of criminal charge is common in federal drug cases, mainly because it is easier for federal prosecutors to prove that a defendant conspired to commit a drug crime than it is to prove that the defendant actually committed the crime. In fact, a crime doesn’t even have to take place for the prosecution to prove a drug conspiracy case, nor does the prosecution have to have any hard evidence of the defendant’s guilt, such as drugs in his or her possession. That means you could end up being charged with conspiracy to distribute drugs whether or not you actually delivered or distributed any of the drugs in question; so long as the prosecution can show that you conspired with someone else to commit the crime, it can prove its case. This explanation was taken straight from a criminal defense attorney's website

Our criminal justice system is putting people in jail for life, actually imposing life sentences, for minimal to non existent roles in larger cases. In addition to the excessive sentences passed out, the government can then take property by use of civil forfeiture, regardless if whether the property was associated in anyway with an alleged crime or accused person.  We have to stop the abuse allowed by use of Conspiracy Charges. Limiting a Federal Prosecutors ability to charge a person with Conspiracy to Commit a crime will cause the government have to prove an accused person actually committed a crime before they can be locked for one.

I always believed at the heart of our justice system, there was, at least some inclination or pre disposition toward furthering justice. Personal experience has shown me there is not, only the Governments desire to imprison it's own people, in the name of a "War on Drugs".

Our government has zealously waged a war on it's own citizens and created laws that take away an accused person's ability to defend themselves! It is hard to believe what I'm saying is happening, until it happens to you and your family.
