Improve Awareness on Overconsumption: Support for a Sustainable Canada

As Canadians, we are proud of being a leader in many fields such as civil liberties, innovation, education and quality of life. However, the average Canadian consumes vastly more resources and energy than the average world level.
31 billion Canadian Dollars of food was wasted in 2014, national fossil fuel usage is expected to rise by 4.3% from 2016 to 2040 and Canada was ranked 15th out of 17 for OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries on environmental-friendly metrics.
In order to curb Canadian consumption, we implore funding for organizations that prone sustainable development, awareness campaigns, and educative initiatives on primary and secondary school levels on this issue.
We hope that current and future generations from all over Canada and across the planet will benefit from sustainable practices and guaranteed resources.
