Create an opportunity to opt out of entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicaid
Are you tired of paying into programs you have no intention of using? Are you tired of having to fund the government piggy bank that they borrow against and you never get the full value from?
I am. That's why I think now is a great time to be able to opt out of entitlement programs when we retire.
We pay the government almost $600,000 in our work lifetime (this all depends on your jobs) to which they barely give us any back. These programs are always under attack, always under scrutiny, and they never give out what you have put in. With all this, why keep putting into it?
I want the federal government to create a way for us to opt out of these programs. This would net us more money per paycheck and would allow us to determine our own future. With $600,000 having paid in by the time you are 67 years old, with a 5% return on investment you would be sitting well over $1,000,000 by the time you retire. You can get some $95,000 per year on interest alone where as on Social Security you will be lucky to get $40,000 per year.
This all comes with risk and that must be acknowledged. It must be signed and once you are opted out you are out forever. You will receive everything you have put into SS and MC so far in return, but you will never be able to use those programs. For me, that's a risk I am willing to take. That's why I urge you to sign this.
Let people decide whats best for them, stop the charade of the government piggy bank. Be free, be the one who decides your future. You can stay in the program, or you can leave it. This should be an option for every free American.
