Bucks County Concerned Citizens Against the Pipelines started this petition to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
We the undersigned urge the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to require a comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adelphia Gateway Pipeline Project and to include in its review the historical account of the many substantial environmental, health and public safety concerns that were not adequately addressed when the Interstate Energy Company project was first proposed and legally challenged in the 1970's.
Furthermore, we ask the FERC to consider the significant Greenhouse Gas and Climate Change Impacts of this project, and to evaluate any/all Renewable Energy Resources as an alternative to the re-purposing of this pipeline.
