The Okuns are the minority Yoruba speaking people of Kogi State Nigeria.They spread also across Kwara and Ekiti State.
Their main occupation is farming,through which they feed and train their children.
The Fulani herdsmen has totally invaded and taken over the ancestral land of the minority Okun people of Kogi, Kwara and Ekiti state of Nigeria, destroying farms,crops,Killing farmers, rendering our farmers hungry and even raping our Women and children.They have the backing of a Muslim Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to take our land in a jihadist styles.Okun people are peace loving, hardworking and accommodating.But are helplessly being denied farming and access to their own ancestral land,Fulani herdsmen in broad day light armed with high calibre weapons enter our villages unchallenged and kill our people, courtesy of the backing by the current Federal and State government of Nigeria.
The world must rise up to help the Okun people from being wiped out by the fulanis in power and the Islamic invasion of Yahaya Bello.
