Janine Crooks started this petition to FDA

I was diagnosed with a latex allergy 25 years ago.  It took many years to get powdered latex gloves banned from medical facilities.  It is difficult to go out to a restaurant, deli or even bagel place due to the use of powdered and powder free latex gloves.  Anaphylactic shock is a very scary event.  I carry two epi-pens everywhere.  When powdered latex gloves are used the allergens become airborne which makes it dangerous to even be in a building where they are used.  I please ask that they ban the use of latex gloves in restaurants in NJ and powdered latex gloves in all public places.  Many states have already adopted this law, California will be adopting it in January, ban of latex gloves in restaurants.  I wish they could ban powdered latex gloves from even being manufactured so that myself and others do not have to be afraid to be in any public places. Thank you for your help and support!
