I've studied the research and best practices being offered to the board in support of the considered boundary policy revision including all referred and otherwise relied upon materials. In my opinion any board member that votes on this policy change without doing a comparable degree of dull diligence is voting irresponsibly. If they do their due diligence or engage an unbiased party to do so on their behalf they will understand that this supposedly data driven support for the contemplated changes has not been thoroughly vetted, nor properly adjusted to reflect Fairfax County Public Schools. FCPS own research by not teasing out the impacts of our high percentage of english learners in essence completed a study of absolutely no value to FCPS decision making.

I'm sick of the clowns in our County government trying to ruin one of the top areas to live in the Country with an ill-advised socio-economic experiment meant only to pander for votes and serve the greater good of the National Political Party. To even think of taking these types of actions behind closed doors is incredibly arrogant and flies in the face of open democracy.

One Fairfax shouldn’t mean moving kids from districts and their neighborhoods to try to make things more equitable; providing additional funds, resources, aides, educational tools and smaller class sizes while allowing teachers to actually teach will have a quicker and more positive outcome. Do the research, Fairfax County, and allow teachers the time to create differentiated lesson plans that benefit individual students and learning abilities. That is where you will see a difference.

I moved to Great Falls in 2018 and a major draw was the smaller, tight knit community. I don't understand how it makes sense (by the demographic numbers or by the socioeconomic experiment) to make this kind of change.

I’m worried about the home values and if we need to have Herndon High school improved don’t do it by bussing Great Falls students there, do it in another way. If another school needs to be built, which I heard was in the works, do that! Why should parents and kids who moved to GF to be in the Langley pyramid have to change or pay for a remedy that the school board can deal with in other ways?

School district was a main factor when buying our home. This change will hurt our family in more ways than one.
