Allow Mrs. Osborne's Class to Stay at the Franklin Center
Mrs. Osborne's students have become accustomed to the learning environment provided by the Franklin Center and feel as if moving to the high school would be detrimental to their learning experience and ability to perform. As high performing students, their needs and ability to learn are better accommodated by the advanced facilities made available by the Franklin Center. The Franklin Center exposes students to a college learning environment that is not available at the high school, which, as seniors planning to attend college, would negatively affect their futures. The primary goal of the education system is to prepare students for their futures, meaning removing students from a learning environment which acclimates them to the college experience would contradict this mission. Thus, by uprooting Mrs. Osborne's students, Franklin County High School is failing to do its part in preparing them for their future.
