While FC Barcelona is in amidst a financial crisis and struggles to sign new players to begin the new era by making a more competitive team, the problem continues at root which is, some players taking advantage of the club and their contract situation. 

Samuel Umtiti, who was once a World Class Centre-Back Defender, now is rarely ever in the shape or even at the quality level required to play any matches, and yet takes up a big portion of FC Barcelona's Salary Cap set by La Liga. 

It has brought to light that Samuel Umtiti had been offered to 5 or 6 other football clubs, but he has rejected the transfer move, while he also refuses to renew on reduced wages and stay at the club.

It has even come into light that FC Barcelona tried to negotiate a termination with Samuel Umtiti which has been rejected, and I say negotiate because the club had to discuss with the player about termination and how the club could settle the finances between itself and the player incase of termination.

I thereby request FC Barcelona to take strict actions against Samuel Umtiti.

• Incase the player refuses to renew on reduced wages at the latest, I sincerely request FC Barcelona to consider all options to raise funds and prioritize the termination as immediate.
• Incase Samuel Umtiti wants to renew at a later point when we might lose him for free, I request FC Barcelona to take a stand and refuse any interest or investment in the player and rather let him leave for free.
  • I only request this because I'm sure I speak on behalf on many FC Barcelona fans and socis, when I say that this has been beyond disrespectful for the club and it's symbol, from someone who even claims that he's in the best shape of his life but yet either refuses or fails to show it on the pitch to the fans.
  • This will only repeat if we renew on the basis of an investment to make the sale later on, as these players will always take advantage of their rights and seem to respect their contracts even when they've stopped playing more than a handful of games in a year.
  • Samuel Umtiti has even shown a lack of sportsmanship. If any club in Europe asks a player to leave, the player has accept it and move on, especially after being given so many chances, on and off the pitch. 

This is FC Barcelona we're talking about, the biggest club in the world with the most loyal and heartfelt fans. THIS CANNOT CONTINUE.
