Investigate Possible TVPA, Mann Act and RICO Violations at PLAYBOY/MANWIN Corporations Inside the Los Angeles Pornography Industry

We, the signers of this petition, want to bring awareness to potential sex trafficking victims inside the pornography industry, specifically through the Playboy/Manwin corporations. Due to evidence uncovered during research and investigations, we have found indicators that teen girls and young women have been and still are being recruited into the pornography industry with fraudulent promises of legitimate work.

These recruiters state that 'models' can easily make exaggerated amounts of money per month working with well known magazines and television/cable networks. Once these victims are recruited and arrive at the trafficking destination, there is evidence they are being held there by means of debt bondage, physical force, sexual assault, psychological coercion, drugs and alcohol abuse and illegal sexual contracts.

PUBLIC MEDIA STATEMENTS:

Playboy Bunny, Kendra Wilkinson: "Disses Sex With Hugh Hefner: ‘I Had To Be Drunk and High to get through it’."

Playboy Bunny, Holly Madison: "Says Life Inside The Playboy Mansion ‘Wasn’t A Dream At All’!"

Multiple Playboy Bunnies: "‘It’s Like a Prison and Hugh Hefner Prefers Tennis to Sex’."

Multiple Playboy Bunnies: "We were sexually assaulted at the Playboy Mansion and there's many more who are afraid to speak out."

Multiple Media Sources: "Bill Cosby was close friends with Hugh Hefner. He spent many weekends at the Playboy Mansion." "Everyone knew Bill Cosby was a sexual predator but no one did anything about it." "Sexual assault victims, who were underage at the time of assault, step forward with allegations against Bill Cosby that happened at the Playboy Mansion."

PETITION TO INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE TVPA/MANN ACT/RICO ACT VIOLATIONS INSIDE THE LOS ANGELES PORN INDUSTRY, SPECIFICALLY AT PLAYBOY/MANWIN CORPORATIONS.

Greetings,

WHEREAS, we the petitioners, through evidence uncovered during research and investigations, has identified potential sex trafficking victims inside the pornography industry, specifically at Playboy/Manwin corporations. We have found indicators that:

• teen girls and women are being recruited into the pornography industry with fraudulent promises of legitimate jobs at exaggerated pay rates;

• once these victims are recruited and arrive at the trafficking destination, they are being held there by means of debt bondage, physical force, sexual assault, psychological coercion and illegal sexual contracts;

• their pay for work performed is given directly to their “agent” or trafficker, the corporations;

• the victims have been subjected to sexual abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment and/or sexual discrimination;

• the victims are not allowed the freedom to participate in personal or outside activities; the victims are held in corporate accommodations and only allowed out for commercial sexual exploitation that profits said corporate agents;

• the victims are identified as both domestic and international; as of November 2014, a publicly known Uruguayan prostitute was trafficked through Miami border patrol to work specifically for said Playboy/Manwin corporations as a paid sex worker;

WHEREAS, the United States has identified the above actions to be indicators of sex trafficking which is illegal per the United States Trafficking Victims Protection Act and Reauthorizations of 2003, 2005 and 2008; the Mann ACT of 1910 and amended in 1978 and 1986, and RICO ACT of 1970;

WHEREAS, the pornography industry is a legal industry inside the United States and as such, must submit to the laws of the TVPA and Reauthorizations of 2003, 2005 and 2008; the Mann ACT of 1910 and amended in 1978 and 1986, and RICO ACT of 1970;

WHEREAS, spokespersons for the pornography industry and Playboy/Manwin have openly admitted in public forums that they have not followed the laws of the United States;

WHEREAS, the pornography industry, in the United States alone, produces 89% of the entire world’s hardcore pornography websites with earnings between $2.8 – $13 billion a year, making it is one of the most profitable industries in the United States;

WHEREAS, we, the petitioners, take the stance that these indicators should be evaluated for further awareness and possible legal action;

SPECIFICALLY, as a concerned citizen, I call on the FBI, the US Department of Justice, the LAPD Vice Unit, California State Attorney, Florida State Attorney Trafficking Unit, Cook County Trafficking Task Force (Playboy was headquartered in Chicago for many years, jurisdiction), to:

"Initiate an investigation of these indicators to determine if, in fact, sex trafficking and/or Mann Act and/or RICO Act violations have been or are still taking place inside the pornography industry and specifically at Playboy/Manwin corporations, and;

If such is found, to take the necessary legal action against the pornography industry and Playboy/Manwin corporations per TVPA and Reauthorizations, the Mann Act and RICO Act provisions."

THEREFORE, I add my name and voice to those of countless American citizens calling upon our United States Government to immediately join with us in efforts to end the exploitation and trafficking of teens and women in the pornography industry and stop modern-day slavery in the 21st century.

Respectfully,
