Sophomore Theater Students to See The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime

The theater kids at Fayetteville High School were invited to see The Curious Incident of the Dog and the Night-time, at the Walton Arts Center. The tickets were paid for by a generous donor. This was going to be an incredible academic opportunity for high school students to experience a production that will soon be opening on Broadway. But, because of standardized state testing the sophomore students at Fayetteville high can no longer go to see the production. The schools administrators refuse to allow these students to go see the production because of the testing taking place on the 20th of April. Even though there are make-up days for students who are absent on testing days to take the test, the administrators won't allow the students to make up the test and take advantage of the opportunity before them, because of a minor, very fixable, obstacle.
