Call Off School Due to Dangerously Cold Temperatures

With wind chills, the temperature of Central Kentucky is around ten degrees below zero. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory, claiming, "THESE LOW WIND CHILLS COULD RESULT IN FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA". Lexington has set up "Heat Centers' and urges people to bring animals inside their homes.
Fayette County Public Schools does not provide a bus service to those who live within one mile of their school, forcing those students to walk to be drived by parents. Many students, including small children have to stand and wait at a bus stop. Many parents are unable to drive their kid to school or wait for them at a bus stop, due to work.
Having school on a day like tomorrow is dangerous, and proves FCPS isn't "All About Kids". It is an inconvenience to parents, children, and volunteers who work out in car lanes at schools.
It would be much more beneficial if FCPS would use one of the scheduled make up days in February or March.
