During an unprecedented time with a raging pandemic, parents were faced with a decision to either send their children to school or create a virtual learning environment for them at home. It was a great sacrifice regardless the decision. However, for the safety of others by remaining safe and remaining home we chose the virtual school option. In the beginning of the school year, we were advised that our children's Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Marlene Vaughn would remain our child(ren)'s teacher for the duration of the school year. The children as well as the parent(s) and guardian(s) have gained a repor and created a relationship with both Mrs Vaughn as well as Mrs Walker. It has already been a difficult year for everyone,  and we can only imagine how difficult it is for a young child who can barely understand the severity of this pandemic to understand why they can't play with their friends or leave their house to go to school. Our decision to keep our families and others safe should not be a punishment to our children, by taking away the only NORMALCY that they know and replacing their kindergarten teacher in the middle of the school year. We are aware that the decision is tough as the world is navigating through this difficult time, but we ask for the sake of our children,  that you keep Mrs. Vaughn and Mrs. Walker as their virtual Kindergarten teacher(s).
