Saint Martha Parish: Stop supporting animal abuse!

Saint Martha Parish in NE Philly is hosting the animal-abusing Zerbini Family Circus for FOUR days this year: May 11, 12, 13 and 14.
Zerbini Family Circus currently uses camels, dogs and horses and has used a buffalo and alligator in the past. They have been cited by the USDA multiple times for failing to follow even the very minimal standards required by the Animal Welfare Act, including failure to provide shelter to camels standing in the blazing sun and housing dogs in damaged, hazardous enclosures.
Animal circuses are an outdated, cruel and unnecessary form of "entertainment" that has already been banned in 17 countries around the world and dozens of cities throughout the U.S. A religious institution hosting an animal circus is a result of greed, ignorance, or insensitivity to animal issues.
