Covid 19 cases in India are growing at one of the fastest pace in the world and the country's tally in August is the highest across the globe. The seven-day rolling average of cases in the country has crossed that of Brazil and is now the second highest in the world. India is even recording the third highest number of deaths daily (on an average).

But all throughout this situation, Father Agnel School, Noida has shown a blind eye to the statistics and has taken the decision to conduct offline examinations. In the circular, they have mentioned that the danger of the Covid 19 infection is real, yes it is indeed. So, how exactly has FASN even had the thought of opening schools, be it just for the sake of an examinations. No matter how many precautions are taken, if the children are present together in a group, have to go through school transportation together, catching the corona virus is inevitable.
A recent case that occured in Andhra, A school was reopened, the local education officer said that 108 people including students and teachers were tested for the virus from one village alone. Of them, 18 students, including nine boys and nine girls, tested positive. We have been following all precautions," Ms Lakshmi said.
It is no secret that there have been various schools that tried to open schools, but look where it all ended. In the end of the day, the students caught the virus and they had to suffer alone. If the FASN students do catch the virus, the school will clearly take no responsibility, they will say that we took the precautions, we cannot be blamed, but after all, it will be the students suffering.

Hence, this petition is to show the school how impractical this whole decision is.
