The cost to live in the Bay Area rises every year.  Now the cost to travel within the Bay is starting to outweighs the benefits California citizens are currently receive the already high taxes we pay. Toll prices does not need to increase every time, cal trans misuses it’s lofty budget. The fact is Bay Area do not see any results from increasing sales taxes and toll prices. Excuses pile up as well As the traffic is on these outdated roads and highways. There are other potential funding streams that can fund caltrans. It’s already been published that fines and fees disproportionate impact lower to low income families. We must Lower the toll to $5 and put in place a 5 year state moratorium. Let’s keep California thriving for current and future generations. We need a green and sustainable future. Not over taxing the main source of transportation for millions of Californians.
