Ban styrofoam containers

Millions or styrofoam cups and containers are used at fast food restaurants and coffee shops. Much of this material makes it's way into our creeks, river, lakes and other waterways. As it breaks down into smaller bits, is consumed by fish and birds with fatal results. It is extremely difficult to clean it from the water and shore once it is broken into these small pieces. It also creates an extra burden to remove these particles from the human water supply. Please encourage food and drink venders to discontinue the use of styrofoam containers and cups. Also, the use of corn starch based packaging "peanuts" or recycled paper should be used rather than styrofoam. Keep water, our most valuable resource, as pure as possible !
