We, the residents of Franklin Township Oppose the proposed  NOTICE OF ORDINANCE INTRODUCTION: CANNABIS BUSINESS IMPLEMENTATION - Franklin Township, NJ (franklin-twp.org
Because of Potential Environmental concerns with impact to humans and animals:

• Depletion of water supply- we all have wells!
• Impact to Water Quality. Runoff of excessive pesticides, herbicides and cannabinoids (psychoactive compound)
• Increased Energy use-orders of magnitues vs other greenhouse crops -- CO2 emissions and ozone depletion
• SMELL!
  Indoor/Outdoor Air quality Impact- emissions of Volatile Compounds-ODOR is a consideration regardless of remediation.
• ('NO ODOR') in the ordinance is not quantified and and it is also not possible) 

Passing of the ordinance will lead to RAPID deterioration of quality of life and PROPERTY VALUE! 

As such, we are requesting:

• Full Review by the FT Environmental Commission
• Delay of the proposed hearing to allow proper review by EC and residents
• In-person Municipal meeting if this does remain or recur on the docket, to enable appropriate public comment as the zoom meetings are and have been technically insufficient. 
• Every member of the Municipal committee vote NO.
