Get Sam Allardyce and Steve Walsh out of Everton FC!

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

This season has been the most disappointing season in a long time infact I cannot remember a season where I have lost complete interest in the club. The fans of Everton FC have started to view going the match as a chore and most of us including myself cannot wait for each game and the season to be over. There are many of our fans that have started to miss matches and who can blame them.

Last summer started with optimism as Steve Walsh and Ronald Koeman were tasked with spending a substantial amount of money to build a side capable of challenging the top 4. This coincided with Lukaku leaving the club and no matter what people think of Lukaku as a player he is our highest scorer in the premier league ever meaning he was always going to be a massive loss to the club.

Steve Walsh as the Director of football made quite frankly some of the most disappointing signings for a season which promised so much. We missed key positions once again in the summer transfer window and signed players which obviously were not good enough to wear our shirt. The reason for these signings is unknown is it a lack of scouting or were they panic buys to appease fans early on in the window? Steve Walsh had plenty of investment into his scouting network and therefore this is unacceptable.

Ronald Koeman started the season knowing he had the hardest set of starting fixtures in recent years. The team looked dysfunctional and the lack of options in key positions was demonstrated early on in the season with Ronald therefore taking the blame by being removed from his position.

The search for the new manager took along time and many options were considered however no single manager had a similar style to the next one meaning the lack of plan and leadership in the search was evident. The players stopped playing completely for caretaker manager Dave Unsworth and out of complete panic Sam Allardyce was appointed as manage of Everton.

It was clear for everyone within the fanbase, within the club, within the media and around our ex players that Sam Allardyce was not wanted by anyone but he signed a 18 month deal potting him a guaranteed £9million.

The initial results improved however it was clear that the team had some lucky decisions including a number of penalties and the pressure started to go away from Allardyce. The performances under Sam have been awful and it was clear the early luck we had would not carry on for the long term. Alot of fans have given up going the game till Allardyce leaves the club and some have not been since he was appointed. Sam Allardyce was recently seen laughing when told that Evertonians are not happy with his management of the club. It has become apparent since Allardyce has taken over that we are aiming for 40 points only and for a club our size this is not good enough.

The results, performances and lack of leadership shown by both Allardyce and Walsh with the team and the recruitment is nothing short of abysmal and with this in mind the message is clear. WE WANT SUCCESS AND WE WANT AMBITION.
