Rupak Ghandi’s Extreme Weather Policies
As a highschool student, you are a new driver, often times with limited experience. Rupak Ghandi endangers his students’ lives by not cancelling school in extreme winter weather conditions. 40+ mph winds, icy roads and low visibility conditions are causing accidents harming students traveling from all over town to Fargo Public Schools. Kindergarteners are getting frost bite walking into class when they could be safe at home. Students with disabilities need greater help getting into school safely on these days and it poses a great danger to those with injuries or wheelchair bound. Last year when school wasn’t cancelled in this weather, a bus driver hit and injured people and many people got in accidents.
