Three words come to mind when I think about the Washington Redskins organization; enough is enough. There has been a complete lack of acknowledgement by the owner about our frustrations for 20 plus years, and I think it's time we finally did something meaningful about it. Sure, cursing up a storm and starting hashtags on Twitter may be a fine way to cope, but it won't result in anything.

Here's a fact; Daniel Snyder is the owner of the Washington Redskins, and he's going nowhere. Here's another fact; the Washington Redskins are a business, and we are their primary customers. To enact real change, we need to hit the man in charge where it really hurts, his wallet. To combat the problem I summed up earlier with—enough is enough—is with a different set of three words, a fan strike. Now during this strike we will continue to support the players and coaches (current, former, and future) by rooting for them each and every week, because as die-hard fans of a team, no matter how bad things are, that's what you do. However, we will no longer attend games at FedEx field, we will no longer purchase jerseys, hats, t-shirts, and any other kind of memorabilia. If you have season tickets, sell them each week to opposing fans. Make this the least profitable team in the NFL until Dan Snyder gives us, the players, and the coaches, the fresh start we have long asked for and deserve. Our demands are quite simple Mr. Snyder; fire and remove Bruce Allen from the Redskins organization entirely, hire someone respected in the business to change the culture from top-to-bottom, let that person hand-select a qualified GM, and give them full control of the coaching search, draft, and free-agency.

Until then, we will watch from a far, support from a far, and bleed you financially. This is us, the Washington Redskins fan base, holding you accountable, because it's about time somebody did so.
