Mets fans have heart, they have grit, they have suffered from consecutive collapses to owners mired by Bernie Madoff. They have also seen magnificence, in Tom Seaver, Darryl Strawberry, Doc Gooden, David Wright, Jose Reyes, Jacob deGrom, and Pete Alonso. This petition isn't about them, it's about the little guys we appreciate:

The guys that can be taken for granted but show themselves to be the reason our teams are good. We want to make sure we show them "We see you, you're amazing." 

Our request is for a Shirt-Jersey (Shirsey for short) option for Luis Guillorme. For many of us, Guillorme is the player who needs to be highlighted, with the magic, lightning-quick hands that caught a rogue bat, seeking to give our spring training players a concussion, to a 22-pitch walk against a pitcher touching 104 miles per hour on his fastball.

While these plays are spring training, he he has been heart and soul of the double-play tandem in 2022, which Gary Cohen stated "Poetry in Motion."

We know, not the former All-Star, Lindor, or the the definitely deserving Nimmo, or even Darling as a throwback. We want Luis Guillorme, the low-power, slap-hitting, Magician of a fielder. We love our Utility Man with the quick hands that is under appreciated. 

Usually, it would be awesome to have custom Shirseys, but we've scoured the site, and the choices for custom are not the general types that feel official. The look has to be there, the blue or black shirt with Mets on the front and Guillorme on the back with the #13.

We understand, contracts have to be made with your manufacturers, and Guillorme gets some of that money. We want it that way.

We can't guarantee that everyone who signs this petition will buy, but we want the option.
