There are a lot of people all over the world that are part of some type of fandom. Myself, for example, I am both in the Harry Potter fandom and the Marvel fandom. I love them and know so much about them. I have seen things about fandom schools, but people are just dreaming about it. But what if there were actually fandom schools? People who obsess over things like Marvel or Harry Potter wouldn't feel alone with how they feel, they would be constantly surrounded by people who understood them. Let me explain what I think a fandom school would look like. Fandom schools would most likely be boarding schools. You would have to pay to get in, but there would be a program for people who can't afford. A yearly fundraiser so kids can go to the school. You would select a fandom or a combination of two or three, and you would be put in a group of people that are like you. You would share boarding houses, sit at tables for meals together, and have classes scheduled together. Classes would be on fandom things like ships, fanfiction writing, editing, etc. There would also be normal classes like math and science, because you still need a good education. Evey Friday, you sit with your group and talk about your favorite things in your fandom and make mini projects to share with other people at the school. At the end of the year, you have final exams for your normal classes, but you also make a big project for your fandom, whatever you think best represents it. There would also be a Student Council that would always be open to new fandom suggestions for the school and they would try to get them in, because every fandom deserves a place. I know this all sounds like fantasy, but maybe, with enough people singing this petition, fandom schools will actually be created all over the world. Join me, and help the world get fandom schools!
