During a domestic violence relationship most of the violent acts are not reported to the police.

During a family courts trial in the UK, where the perpetrator admits to counts of domestic abuse, this should be recorded criminally. The perpetrator should have these admitants on their criminal records and be trialed and punished for their crimes.

Domestic violence affects the family as a whole, including the children that have been exposed to the violence for many years after seeking a safer life.

We live our lives in fear often with mental health issues and trauma that leads to physically disabilities. Perpetrators are allowed to continue living their lives, this needs to stop, there needs to be more than is done.
