Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, students at Fairmont State were forced into online classes. We feel that online classes should be a choice. Many students prefer in-person classes and feel that the learning experience is more personable and easier to grasp. Online courses do not support the different ways people learn. For example, the tactile learner would have challenges and would not be successful in an ALL online platform. Because of this unprecedented event, the student body is calling for classes taught via online that we were forced into to end immediately. We are asking for a written grade of PASS and the appropriate credit to be awarded.
