Say no to 4.5% rent charge increase in Fairfield Park

Dear Fairfield Park Residents Company Ltd & Scanlans Property Management LLP,
Please immediately refrain from allowing the organisation commonly known as “Fairfield Park Resident’s Association” from influencing any current or future decisions about our rent charge, the maintenance of the communal areas, or indeed any supposed “improvements” to the existing development.
The demographic of their board and meeting attendees are not representative of the bulk of the population of Fairfield.
Their activities do not represent the wishes of the vast majority of the inhabitants of Fairfield.
Their “chairman”, Peter Nash, has not been democratically elected by the people of Fairfield.
Furthermore, a large percentage of home owners of Fairfield have no idea who the FPRA are or who its active members are, which goes some way to show the lack of transparency with which the organisation operates.
As (predominantly freehold) home owners in Fairfield we are all equal shareholders in FPRC and as such we do not require any association to falsely claim authority on our behalf in order to effect positive change when required.
Please also remove the 4.5% increase in our rent charge that Peter Nash has taken it upon himself to instate and re-issue revised statements for all home owners. Quite how you thought this was going to go unchallenged when there was a 30% surplus on last year’s rent charge is not clear!
