Preserving 220 Pansy Road Farm is a unique opportunity for the Town of Fairfield to provide the community with much needed open space and access to nature. This deeded farmland is nine acres of mostly wooded flat land. This property is located in the eastern part of Fairfield, where there has been public support to preserve open space to help balance the recent increase in high-density development. Additionally, several Fairfield groups have expressed interest in turning this land into a teaching farm. We are urging our town officials to buy this land or help to procure grants to purchase it.
