I humbly request your help in demanding the relevant authorities in the State Department to push the new Pakistani government to establish an interim national government, while the most important action to be taken is to ensure free and fair elections in 90 days. Failure to implement these two demands will be detrimental to both the United States interests and the stability of Pakistan.

Pakistan has been struggling to strengthen its democracy for the last 75 years, and it has always been a staunch ally of the United States. The recent events resulting in the toppling of a democratically elected government, and the installation of a new government, in which a majority of the politicians are indicted, and in some cases convicted, of mass corruption and other crimes. The Pakistani people are livid over these events and have been consistently protesting on a massive scale against the new government.

I look forward to your response and greatly appreciate your commitment to the strategic interests of the United States and as well as your sincere concern for our ties with Pakistan, who has been a staunch non-NATO ally in global interests of United States.
