The men and women of the Railroad freight industry have worked without a pay raise for 3 years, while CEO and shareholders have received huge bonuses.  They work on call, day /night, in all weather elements, transporting all kinds of Chemicals and cargo, not to mention the toxic air they breathe at some of the yards. Some freight train workers trains have been shot at or rocks thrown at them all while the crew are aboard the train. They are reprimanded by management if they report back to the yard later than expected ( which can happen due to faulty switches, etc) Some supervisors  hide out and spy on workers to make sure the workers are actually working.  They put their lives on the line everyday, yet they are  not allowed sick days and are given points that lead to firing  if they call off due to family emergencies.  The GOP-backed resolution would forgo workers' demands to be able to call out sick or for family emergencies and force them to not have a say in  their contract. Please sign this petition saying you stand with these workers for a fair contract.
