Whereas: The invasion of the Ukraine by the armed forces Russian Federation represents an unprovoked act of war

Whereas: The attack on Ukraine constitutes a violation of sovereignty and integrity of an independent state

Whereas:This aggression poses a threat to peace in Europe and around the world

We, the members of the Faculty, Staff, and Students at Florida Institute of Technology,  stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian nation as a whole, and in particular, our colleagues at Ukraine’s universities and schools. 

We appeal to the authorities of the Russian Federation to immediately cease hostilities and withdraw their troops from the territory of the Ukraine.
