As the recipient of at least two unfair Facebook jail occasions, I would like to express my anger, disgust and frustration in regard to those occasions.  Two days ago, I was in my Golden Girls fan group, and my comment was a direct quote from the character everyone was discussing.  In the episode "Sisters and Other Strangers", the character was Stanley Zbornak's Cousin Magda, who came over from Russia for a visit.  One of the lines she says about Stanley is "Man is Pig"....he charges his own cousin rent.  Not one minute after I wrote "Man is Pig", I got the popup saying it was a violation of Facebook's community standards on hate speech.   They then ask you if you agree.   However, not only did I NOT agree, I wanted to explain that it was a quote from the episode, but there is absolutely nowhere to even type why you disagree.  I feel if I was able to type "it was a direct quote from the character in the episode", I would not be in Facebook jail.  Not only that, I was given a ban of seven days!!  And I can't use Messenger which is one of my primary ways to reach my children.  If you are given an unfair Facebook ban, you should be able to explain that it was a mistake on Facebook's part, they should take note of where you wrote the words to see if it was in a fan group, and be able to see it was a quote; that it was NOT directed towards any Facebook user, and it is NOT a violation of community standards or even hate speech.  The fact that there is NOWHERE to write even ONE sentence to explain what you wrote and you're just cut off from posting, liking and messaging, is a violation of my constitutional rights to post on Facebook within their guidelines.  This has happened to me twice now.  This ban has interfered with my daily life, my way to communicate with my children, and has caused me undue emotional stress because of the unfairness and unjustness of it all.  I am hoping through this petition, someone at Facebook sees this and changes their practices.  It is so unfair to do this to someone and not be able to write a message to someone at Facebook, call on the telephone, fax a letter or ANYTHING.   I am so upset over this unfairness, it may not be a big deal for some people, but it is for me because I have been using Facebook daily for 12 years and all my friends, family and interests are there.  To be given a seven day ban for quoting a line from a character, in a tv show fan group, without being able to explain to anyone what it was, is beyond frustrating and very unfair.   Even when you say you "don't agree", they say they are reviewing it.  Obviously, they DO NOT review it because if they did, they would see it was a big mistake on Facebook's part.  With all the hate, foul language, bigotry, racism and fake news and pictures I see daily on Facebook, and nothing done about it, to ban me from Facebook for seven days over a line from a tv show in that tv show's fan group, without being able to explain what is was, is inexcusable.  You have now blocked my ways of communicating with family, friends and coworkers.  I want Facebook's ways to address violations of community standards CHANGED to at least allow the user to type a few sentences about WHY you disagree, to see that is was a mistake.  Not being allowed to do that one simple thing, is a violation of my  rights and an unfair business practice.
