As Concerned Zimbabwean Citizens we are shocked by the censoring of a group of Human Rights Activists in the diaspora and within Zimbabwe by Facebook. Facebook has censored and deleted LIVE BROADCAST informative Human Rights Activist Videos concerning tyrannical behavior of Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF cartel. It is a fact that the people of Zimbabwe are subdued, abducted, tortured and even murdered for speaking against the tyrannical dictatorship of Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zanu Pf Cartel. The only way we can raise awareness and freely express ourselves as diasporans concerned by the deteriorating social and economic failure engineered by Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF anarchists for Zimbabweans, is through social media of which Facebook is one of them. We seek clarity from Facebook as to why these videos are being removed or edited as they are meant to serve as awareness to the international community and locally based citizens of a terrorized citizenry. Human Rights Activists who use Facebook as an awareness tool have been denied certain Facebook functions or blocked. As Concerned Zimbabwean Citizens, we are calling upon Facebook to stop this censoring and deletion of videos of genuinely concerned Human Rights Activists, who are telling the true story of the oppressed people of Zimbabwe. The deletion and censoring of these human rights activist videos is not different from the internet shutdown by the Zanu PF government on January 15th, 2019. Facebook is complicit in the violation of human rights in Zimbabwe. Facebook should stop censoring voices of Human Rights Activists from Zimbabwe.
