As a survivor of Sex-Trafficking I am painfully aware of the necessity of concealing ones identity. Many women that are fortunate enough to escape the life of Trafficking must maintain anonymity in order to remain safe and hidden from their abusers. Concealing their government name and creating a pseudonym would accomplish just that. I move for Facebook to allow, in special circumstances, the use of a pseudonym to remain connected to family, friends and support groups without risking their safety. For these special circumstance cases I move that Facebook offer an option for a therapist or representative of a program the victim is or was active in as an adequate form of documentation to keep said pseudonym.
