Good day my name is Chioma, 17 years of age from Nigeria and I'm writing this petition because I, my mother and sister have been told to vacate the apartment we have been occupying because we have insufficient funds to pay our rent.

     My mum is a single mum and she's basically spent all she has on our upkeep and there's no one around to help. My dad left us and has married another woman, totally abandoning us all this while. My mum is not guilty of any crime. He just woke up one day and said that he's tired of the marriage.

       All our family members don't have enough for themselves not to talk of any to spare. Life has been very hard for us ever since. Without any capital, no support, each day has been almost unbearable for us, but we have the hope that things would change.

     I wouldn't be making this petition if we had somewhere to go to. We've looked left and right but there's no where to run to. We don't even feed properly. If we get thrown out of the house, we would be by the roadside and I don't mean to exaggerate.

     So, I'm making this petition to seek any support or any small space we can manage to live in and take refuge. We plead your humble and selfless support, so please in whatever way you can help, please do so. Remember that every penny counts. Thanks for your audience.
