This gave users a broader palate to express their reactions to content shared on the platform. But as America slips deeper into a state of bureaucratic nihilism, many feel that a seventh option is needed: a "laughing, then crying" Like button. Such a reaction is necessary to respond to content like a Go Fund Me page for a 5-year-old seeking donations for a life-saving medical treatment or an article that describes the leader of the free world saying that windmills cause cancer.
