I was shocked to see how many people turning to charities for help with school uniforms.The cost of the school  uniforms from blazers to logo jumpers and skirts is outrageous and for low income families it is a very stressful time.There is no government help and  only selected Council that do, so once again a lottery postcode on  the help given.Schools should take responsibility for running up costs and how simple things such as iron on logo's if they really want them on the uniforms  can help drive the cost down instead of up.It has to stop !!!  over £250 pre child for there uniforms is ridiculous and unfair. Especially in the hard times we are all living in at this moment . There should be more support out there for the most vulnerable people in our Society.
