Tech and social media companies are profiting from US election meddling by Russia and possibly China and Iran.

We know this happened in 2016, and we know this is happening during the 2020 election. We are currently unable to properly identify and moderate it.

Until these media companies and national intelligence get a handle on what is happening, and determine a method to stop it, we ask for a blanket ban on political advertising and organized political groups/pages of substantial following during election season- unless there is a method to properly vet each individual advertiser/organization manually.

This ban can be implemented simply, quickly (within just a few days) and effectively by these companies, temporarily pausing any account and/or content that meets keyword criteria.

This should be temporary and done in the interest of protecting (legitimate) free speech by the people and protecting our country from foreign influence in our elections.
